Baron Design

Convergence recently relocated Baron Design to a new purpose build office in Cambridge. There were a number of issues, namely the fact that the customer was moving to a different telephone exchange and were presented with the problem of having to change their telephone number.

Due to the nature of the business, Convergence had to meticulously plan the move to ensure it went as smoothly as possible.

Lola Cars

Convergence has been working with Lola Cars for a number of years maintaining their telephone system. As you can imagine from a company of this size, their needs might exceed those that you'd associate with an SME business. Lola have several sites which places a huge demand on their telecoms infrastructure. Convergence has successfully maintained this infrastructure and has developed an excellent working relationship with this customer.

Codair Design

Again, Convergence has worked with Codair Design for a number of years and have continued to work closely with them. Here is what their Head of IT, Alan Wheeler had to say...

"We have used the services of Convergence Communications since 2005 when initially, they took on the maintenance of our ageing Panasonic telephone system. Shortly afterwards, in April 2006, they installed a new Intertel Axxess system.

The new system necessitated the revision of our Cat5e network infrastructure which handles data transfer for our computer networks and telephones. A new patch panel cabinet was installed to provide additional patch ports for around 60 new outlets in our sales offices.

Much of the work was done in normal working hours with no disruption to the daily working of our offices and staff. The final changeover was done after hours at the weekend and training for staff on the new Axxess system was arranged for the following Monday with Convergence staff on hand to ensure there were no snags. The whole process was practically seamless and our staff and customers suffered no inconvenience.

Since the installation of the Intertel Axxess system, the support under our maintenance agreement has been excellent providing us with virtually trouble free telephone communications."

Ski Famille

Convergence has also recently provided a Samsung telephone system for Ski Famille, a company that specialise in providing first class accommodation for families wanting to experience alpine adventure in the French Alps. Here are the comments of their MD, Chris Thompson...

Granta Design

Convergence has also recently installed a large telephone system into Granta Design in Cambridge. The customer's requirements were very specific and through demonstrating attention to details and expertise, Convergence were successful in winning the contract.
