Every telephone system that Convergence Communications installs comes with maintenance support contract.

For the 1st twelve months, the maintenance is included within the price of the system and then a premium will be set thereafter a premium will be set for subsequent years.

Alternatively, Convergence Communications can offer on-going support on existing telephone systems even if they have been installed by another supplier.

We obviously offer support on the newer NEC, newer Samsung and Inter-Tel telephone systems, but can also maintain legacy Toshiba, Panasonic, Samsung and NEC systems.

Our support terms are as follows
In the event of a fault occurring on the system, our engineering team will respond as follows:-

• A minor fault such as a station cord, curly lead, a system handset or an irritation will be responded to and rectified within 16 working hours.


• A major fault which results in 25% or over of your system being inoperable will be responded to and rectified within four working hours.


• The support covers includes full liaison with the network provider in the event that the fault lies with the incumbent network provider.


• Standard support cover runs between 8.30am and 17.30pm Monday to Friday. In the event that you require assistance outside of these hours then an engineer will still respond on our standard time and materials rate.


• As mentioned, as part of the maintenance support, we will liaise with your network provider e.g. BT directly in the event that the fault lies with them to ensure that your service is rectified and bought into service promptly.


• The maintenance premium is calculated at 8% of the value of the equipment that you have installed.


• All above prices exclude any BT/Network charges. BT/Network charges will be negotiated on your behalf should you wish.
