Convergence voted best new partner in 2007/2008 by NEC!
Convergence Communications were this month recognised by NEC as one of their most valuable dealer partners! Convergence received two awards at the prestigious NEC National Dealer Conference at the Belton Woods De Vere Hotel in Grantham on Thursday 5th September, 2008.

Convergence won both the Best New Partner 2007/08 and the award for Excellent Customer Service 2007/08 and were presented these awards by Keiji Kuno, the Senior Manager of International Sales for NEC.

Both Phillip Clayton-Smith and Oliver Shevki were present to receive the awards pictured above with Andrew Cooper (UK Sales Director), Mark Ratherham (UK Sales Manager) and Keiji Kuno who presented the award.

Phillip commented "I am absolutely thrilled that Convergence has won both of these awards. It’s testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team’. Oliver added ‘It is fantastic for Convergence to be recognised by NEC - these prestigious awards are recognition of the company’s progress over the past 12 months. The whole team has worked tirelessly and its accolades like these which provide external validation".

#Convergence Call Packages

Convergence has a number of very cost effective call packages that simply reduce our customers ongoing spend. Please find below what some of our customers have to say…

"Just a quick thank you for the least cost routing that you recommended. I have just received the first bill which shows a saving compared to BT of more than 50%. WOW!"

All you have to do is send us a copy of your latest bill. We’ll analyze it and highlight what potential savings are available. It really is a simple as that. The migration of your calls to one of our providers will take approximately 2/3 weeks. Nothing changes apart from your bill. In fact, we’ll even have to contact you to inform when the changes is made…It’s that seamless!

Why not review your mobile package?

Another way of reducing your ongoing expenditure is to review your mobile spend. We can analyze your bill and make recommendations to ensure you are placed on the right tariff for your business.
For example, one of our customer was up until recently spending £184.00 per month for two mobile phones. He was clearly on the wrong tariff. Convergence analyzed the bill and made a recommendation to switch to a 1000 minute package for £44.00 per month plus £12.00 per month for a 2nd handset. Therefore, we reduced his bill from £184.00 per month to £56.00 per month providing a massive saving of £128.00 per month which equates to a saving of £1,536.00 per year!

NEC National Dealer Conference

Convergence attended the NEC National Dealer Conference at the Belton Woods De Vere Hotel in Grantham, Lincolnshire on Thursday 5th September.

The conference is in celebration of the UK launch of the new UNIVERGE SV8100 and also to recognize the achievement of NEC’s partners over the last 12 months. Convergence attended the NEC National Dealer Conference at the Belton Woods De Vere Hotel in Grantham, Lincolnshire on Thursday 5th September.

As one of the UK’s fastest growing dealers, Convergence were invited to attend and as mentioned were presented with two prestigious awards. Convergence attended the NEC National Dealer Conference at the Belton Woods De Vere Hotel in Grantham, Lincolnshire on Thursday 5th September.

The SV8100 is the latest integrated solution from NEC and compliments the existing market leading switches, the NEC Aspire and XN120. Convergence attended the NEC National Dealer Conference at the Belton Woods De Vere Hotel in Grantham, Lincolnshire on Thursday 5th September.

It provides Convergence further opportunity to approach potential clients with the latest technology.

Brit Car 24 hr Sponsorship
Convergence has joined forces with one of its customers, KTF Group to assist in sponsoring the Brit Car 24 hr race which takes place on Saturday 20th September.

Not only will this opportunity provide good publicity for Convergence, it also allows us to invite a number of key customers to the event.



The event starts on the Friday (19th) and carries on through to the Sunday (21st). If you would like some more information on this event or indeed would like to attend, please contact Convergence as soon as possible.

We do still have tickets available for the event. We will be hosting a number of key staff from NEC and they will also be involved in sponsoring the event.

The main action in on the Saturday and the race is due to start at 4.00pm.

Team Of The Month
This month, it has been a difficult decision as the Convergence team has been really focused on delivering the very highest levels of customer support.

Therefore, we have decided to award the customer support team this month. This team consists of Rachael Cole, Shaun Clayton, Ben Cockerton and Richard Jones.

All of these team members have been really key in helping Convergence achieve the Excellent Customer Service award from NEC.

Well done guys, keep up the good work!
