NEC EMEA Partner Conference

Convergence joined a number of European NEC Partners last week at the Las Arenas Hotel in Valencia for the NEC EMEA Partner Conference. The event was hosted by Lex De Gier (NEC's Vice President for Sales & Marketing) and featured a whole host of guest speakers including NEC's President, Paul Kievit, the Vice President for Applications, Ronald Rubens and the driver of the NEC Porsche, Paul Van Splunteren, that has represented NEC so well during this and last year's GT3 series.
The three day conference which was attended by Director's Phillip Clayton-Smith and Oliver Shevki brought together all of NEC's main dealers across several continents. Partners attended from all over Europe, including dealers from as far as Dubai and South Africa. The objectives were clear - to reward those succesful partners who have delivered the NEC product into their respective markets and to outline the roadmap of NEC's flagship product, the SV8100 for the next 18 months.
Guests were treated to entertainment including a traditional Valencian meal, the obligatory flamenco dancers and a firework display to celebrate NEC's success in 2011.
